The Beginning of a Tiny Dream
Rosita en Miniatura began in 1956, when a ten-year-old Rosita discovered her fascination with tiny worlds while visiting her cousin in Quito, Ecuador. Surrounded by the vibrant energy of the city, she spent hours playing dolls, carefully imagining and crafting little spaces where stories could unfold. Her very first creation—a miniature dress shop built from paper, thread, and a simple cardboard box—became the spark that ignited a lifelong passion for craftsmanship. What began as a moment of childhood curiosity evolved into a lifelong pursuit: transforming humble materials into exquisite miniature worlds filled with imagination, beauty, and heart.
Crafting Worlds in the Smallest Details
Today, Rosita’s artistry is defined by the patience and precision of true craftsmanship. Working with clay, fine woods, metals, and hand-selected fabrics, she brings life to her creations—each one infused with nostalgia, imagination, and heart. Her signature works, miniature chocolateries inspired by old-world European chocolate shops, capture the warmth and elegance of another time.
